Congratulations to Amanda Smith
Winner of the 2011 Beale Wright Memorial Trophy

The winner of the Beale Wright Morris Memorial Trophy in 2011 was Amanda Smith. Amanda was chosen by members of SAPC for her helpfulness, hard work, and commitment throughout the year. Amanda competes with her thoroughbred Red, and is always willing to pitch in and do whatever is needed. She truly embodies the Pony Club pledge.
Beale was an internationally recognized event rider and former pony clubber whose top horses were all thoroughbreds off the track. She passed away in March 2005. This award is given annually to the member of St Augustine Pony Club (DE) who best embodies Beale's commitment to pony club, love of horses, and compassion towards others. Amanda also received a $100- grant towards a pony club clinic in the coming year. Noted sculptress Nancy Weimer Belden, of Newton, NJ, created the perpetual trophy.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MADE HARVESTFEST 2011 A SUCCESS!
We would like to applaud our volunteers, judges, parents, pony clubbers, competitors and friends! Our one day event became a two day affair just 4 days before the weekend~
The event ran on or ahead of schedule, courses rode well, and we finished before dark!
See you in the spring!

Welcome to St. Augustine Pony Club
Learn what we are all about! St Augustine Pony Club was formed over 50 years ago and was originally called the "Middletown Pony Club."
Our club currently has 25+/- members ranging in age from 7 through 20, and from unrated to C3 and H/B riders. Our members have horses of all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities, and come from Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We are very lucky to have an awesome clubhouse, plus rings and a cross country field located on our main base at the SAPC grounds on Old Telegraph Road in Warwick, Maryland. Our second location, just five minutes away, is Unicorn Farm, Mitton Rd., Chesapeake City, MD, site of many of our activities. Both of these locations offer beautiful facilities for both club members and participants in our open activities.
Our club offers lots of activities open to all members of the equestrian community. SAPC offers two unrecognized Horse Trials each year, with inviting, well-built fences including ditches, banks, and water, situated on lovely footing. Throughout the year we host clinics with top riders, and offer regular cross country schooling sessions. A fun show and event derby round out the calendar.
In addition, our members participate in regional and national dressage, event, and show jump rallies, summer camp, quiz, polocrosse, games, vaulting, and more!
Please contact us for more information regarding our activities and SAPC membership!
